Wine Country Adventure
Ahhh... Napa, Sonoma what's not to like? This is the workshop for the photographer and wine lover. Not only will we explore vistas of rolling hills covered with grape vines, we will also be stopping for some tasting and facility touring. If you are lucky enough to take this workshop during harvest time, we will of course focus on that. The route will takes us up though the Caneros and Sonoma and we will come back on the Silverado Trail. This Workshop last approx 8 h and we will be stopping for wine tasting as well as lunch on the way.
Mare Island or Alameda Naval Base
The Bay Area is home to many abandoned military sites. With this workshop I will focus either on the Naval Base in Alameda or the Mare Island Naval Shipyards in Vallejo. Both sites offer similar architecture and industrial motifs. This workshop will last approx 4h.
Marin Headlands
We will explore the coast just north of San Francisco starting at the Golden Gate Bridge and work our way through the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The focus of the day will be on discovering landscapes, nature, structures and other scenes on our way along the Marin coastline. We will be discussing composition and the best approach of getting the image you want while working under different lighting conditions and other challenges. Workshop lasts approx 4h.
